Why you haven't been paid your settlement

Updated

There are very few circumstances where you may not receive your settlement the next business day.

Weekend or bank holiday

Settlements are paid out on each following business day, Monday to Friday, meaning you will not receive settlement payments on Saturdays, Sundays, or bank holidays.

Minimum settlement amount (MPA)

The most common reason for not getting paid the following day is that your transactions have fallen below the minimum settlement amount treshold. This is the contractual minimum amount of transactions you should have in a day to be settled the following day (This is currently set at converted daily rate for Є15.).

Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean you will lose money! Your settlement payment is only postponed until the next business day when your transaction value exceeds the MPA.

Outstanding debt with Teya

You will not receive a settlement if you owe a debt to Teya, e.g. terminal rent, monthly fees, etc. If this is the case, you can choose to repay your debt immediately or wait for the debt to be repaid from your daily settlements. As soon as your debt is repaid, your daily settlements will recommence as usual.

System error or outage

Occasionally, system outages might delay settlement payments. We will inform you in advance should there be an outage planned.
