Tap to Pay - App troubleshooting

If you notice your Tap to Pay isn’t working the way you expect, these tips will help you quickly get back to accepting payments.

Update your Teya app to the latest version

  1. Open Google Play and look for the Teya App;
  2. Check if the app status is set to Update - if yes, click on it.

Troubleshoot your mobile device and Teya app

  • Head to your phone settings and check that your phone is running on the most updated version;
  • Check that your phone has an internet connection, either through Wi-Fi or mobile data;
  • Make sure the required settings are enabled for Tap to Pay:
    • Location
    • Camera
    • NFC
  • Switch your phone off and switch it on again.
  • Force quit the app, if needed.
Note: Tap to Pay is available only for single-company, single-store accounts.
