Connection Recommendations

To accept payments, your card machine must be connected to the internet via either Wi-Fi or mobile data (2G, 3G, or 4G). Please note that public networks cannot be used; even if they appear on your screen, the card machine will not connect to them.

The terminal automatically switches between available connections to maintain the strongest signal and avoid disruptions. By keeping both Wi-Fi and mobile data enabled, you ensure that if one connection fails, the terminal will seamlessly switch to the other.

Check which connection is active, in the upper right corner of the screen.

We highly recommend connecting the terminal to your WiFi network for a more stable connection, especially during busy hours.

Setting up quick features

Now that your card machine is activated, choose which settings you want to enable/disable on your device:

Accept Additional Schemes

This setting is automatically enabled and your card machine will accept AMEX, Discover, and Diners transactions. To disable it, click on the toggle.

Print Merchant Receipt

By default, merchant receipts are not automatically printed but can be viewed in Summaries at any time. To print a copy of your receipt after each transaction, activate this setting by clicking on the toggle.

Enable Tips

This setting is disabled by default. To activate it, click the toggle. You will then be prompted to choose your preferred tip percentage. Finally, click on Start Selling to finish your card machine set up.

Accepting Payments

After finishing your card machine setup, you will land on your device’s main menu. Here, you can accept payments, use the calculator functionality, access the main menu, and read relevant updates.

To proceed with your first payment, simply type the amount to be charged or use the calculator to set the amount and ask your customer to use one of the following payment methods:

  • Contactless Cards: Tap the physical or mobile card at the top of the device;
  • Chip Cards: Insert the card on the right side of the terminal;
  • Magnetic Stripe Cards: Slide the card from left to right at the top of the terminal.

Charging your card machine and checking the battery status

To charge your device, please plug the USB-C charger cable directly into the terminal on the left side and connect it to the power socket.

To check the battery status, look at the upper right corner of the screen. If the battery indicator is red, charge it before using the terminal.

Note: We always recommend having at least 15% of the battery remaining the correct functioning of the device.
