Your card machine arrives in a Teya box, with a protection bag, and is fully charged. You just need to follow the guided setup, and your terminal will be ready for transactions.

Switching on your card machine
Press and hold the power button located on the left side of the terminal and hold it for a few seconds to turn it on or off. Once powered on, press Get Started to begin the set-up process. |

Selecting language and network
Choose your preferred language. This can be changed later from the device settings. |

Connecting your Teya Account
Scan the QR Code displayed on the card machine screen using your phone or enter the website address manually on your preferred device. |
Enter the verification code displayed on the card machine, or verify the autofill and tap Submit. You will be prompted to input your Teya ID credentials or create a new account if you don't have one. |
For security reasons, if you are an employee and not the legal representative of the business, you will need them to:
- Set up a member account using the Teya App;
- Verify the card machine by logging into the website and inputting the verification code that appears on the terminal screen.
Selecting your Store
If you have multiple stores linked to your account, choose the one you want to set up. |
Once a card machine is connected to a store, this action cannot be reversed, so double-check your selection. |
Creating a Manager PIN
Set a 4-digit Manager PIN, required for processing refunds, viewing sales and accessing restricted settings. |
Confirm the PIN and keep it confidential to protect your business. |
Configuring basic settings
You can enable or disable the following features: Accept Additional Schemes - This setting is automatically enabled, and your card machine will accept AMEX, Discover, and Diners transactions. Print Merchant Receipt - By default, merchant receipts are not automatically printed but can be viewed at any time. To print a copy of your receipt after each transaction, activate this setting. Enable Tips - This setting is disabled by default and you will then be prompted to choose your preferred tip percentage |
By default, your card machine is named with a random emoji. To rename it, tap Edit in the upper-right corner. |
