With Instant Settlements, your card takings land in your Teya Business Account the moment a sale happens. Every Payment settles instantly, so you can use your funds straight away.
Instant Settlements are ideal for businesses that rely on same-day cash flow, such as paying suppliers, restocking during service, or covering daily expenses.
Eligibility
Instant Settlements are available only if you have a Teya Business Account.
Your eligibility depends on your business type and your account activity. If you qualify, the Instant Settlement option will appear in your Teya app.
Pricing
Instant Settlements include a small additional fee compared with Everyday Settlements.
Fee: 0.10% on top of your existing rate.
Example: If your Everyday Settlement rate is 1.50%, your Instant Settlement rate will be 1.60%.
How to enable Instant Settlements
Open the Teya app.
On your home screen, go to Settlement > View All Settlements
Click on Settlement preferences
Change your Settlement frequency to Instant.
Your new preference will become active on the following day at 03:30 AM.
How to reconcile your sales and Settlements
You can easily track and reconcile your instantly settled Payments using your Teya app and Business Account:
App home: shows your total sales from the previous day.
Settlement report: lists all sales from the previous day, itemised fees, and your total Settlement amount.
Business Account statement: includes a single “Teya Settlement” entry dated yesterday. Tap or click it to view the individual instantly settled transactions.
Managing your Settlements
Your Business Account statement automatically groups all Settlements from the same day, making them easy to match with your Settlement report.
Example: If your total Settlement amount on 12 November is £1,000, you’ll see the same total reflected in the Settlement report issued on 13 November.
This grouping helps you quickly compare and reconcile your daily figures.
Transaction eligibility
Not all transactions are eligible for Instant Settlement.
Any transactions that are not eligible will appear in your upcoming balance in your Teya Business Account and will be settled the following day.
For example, Pay By Link transactions are not eligible for Instant Settlement. These will be included in your next standard payout cycle and shown as “upcoming balance” in your account.
