Teya Business debit card guide – physical and virtual

With your Business Account, you can have one physical Teya Business debit card and up to 10 virtual cards.

Earn as you spend with 0.5% cashback on every payment made with your Teya Business debit card. You’ll receive the previous month’s cashback at the start of each month.

Spend securely from anywhere, even abroad – using the Visa exchange rate with no additional fees.

Ordering your physical debit card

To get your card, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Teya Business app and go to Business Account.

  2. Go to the Cards tab.

  3. Next to Physical, select Order new.

  4. If the delivery address on screen is correct, select Confirm and order.

  5. If you'd prefer to deliver it elsewhere, select Change address.

  6. Enter the correct address then select Confirm and order.

Your debit card will now be on its way to you and should arrive in approximately 10 working days. In the meantime, you can create a virtual card to shop online and add to your Google Wallet.

Activating your physical debit card

Once you’ve received your debit card, it's time to activate it:

  1. Open the Teya Business app and go to Business Account.

  2. Go to the Cards tab.

  3. Select the physical card and tap Activate card.

  4. Enter the last four digits of your long card number and your Teya Business passcode.

Your card is now activated.

Enabling contactless payments with your physical debit card

To enable contactless payments, you’ll first need to insert it into an ATM or card machine and enter your PIN.  

You can view your PIN in the app by following these steps:

  1. Open the Teya Business app and go to Business Account.

  2. Go to the Cards tab.

  3. Select the physical card and tap Manage.

  4. Select View PIN.

  5. Enter your Teya Business passcode.

You can also make contactless payments using your physical or virtual cards through Google Pay.

Changing your PIN

To change your card’s PIN, please visit your nearest ATM and follow these steps:

  1. Insert your card.

  2. Enter the current PIN.

  3. Select Change PIN.

  4. Enter a new PIN.

Viewing your PIN

To view your PIN, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Teya Business app and go to Business Account.

  2. Go to the Cards tab.

  3. Select the card you want the pin for.

  4. Tap Manage > View PIN.

  5. Enter your passcode.

Creating virtual cards

A virtual card is a digital-only card that can be used to make online or contactless payments in the same way you’d use your physical debit card. Each one has its own unique details.

You can create up to 10 virtual cards. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Teya Business app and go to Business Account.

  2. Go to the Cards tab.

  3. Next to Virtual, select Create new.

  4. Add an optional nickname.

  5. Select Create to confirm.

Adding your card to Google Pay

If you’d like to add your Teya Business debit card to Google Pay, you have two options:

Scan with your phone camera

Use your phone camera to scan your physical card into your Google Wallet.

Type your details

Enter the 16-digit card number, expiry date, and CVV of your physical or virtual card into your Google Wallet.

Once you’ve entered your card details, follow the prompts on screen.
