You can enable your staff to accept payments on their own mobile devices using Teya Tap. By inviting them as team members in the Teya app, they can take payments immediately without accessing your sensitive business data or Settlements.
Before you start
Ensure that:
- You are signed in to the Teya as the account Super Admin (owner) or an admin with permission to manage team members.

Your business has successfully set up Tap to Pay on at least one device.
How to invite a team member
Follow these steps to send an invitation to your staff member:
- Open the Teya app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Team and permissions.
- Tap Add new member.
- Enter your employee’s email address.
- Select the Cashier role.
- Tap Send invite.
The Cashier role allows employees to accept payments but prevents them from viewing sensitive account details, such as Settlements or business settings.
