Pay by Link allows you to accept payments from customers who are not present by sending them a secure payment link or QR code. Your customer pays online using their card or a supported digital wallet (such as Apple Pay or Google Wallet), and the funds are settled to your account like any other transaction.
Before you start
Eligibility
Pay by Link is available to most members once your account verification (KYC — Know Your Customer) is complete. If you do not see Pay by Link on your Card Machine, in the Teya App, or in the Business Portal, contact Teya support so the feature can be checked and enabled for your account if eligible.
Fees and Settlements
- Cost: There are no extra costs for using Pay by Link. You pay the standard transaction fees agreed in your plan.
- Settlements: Payments are processed like standard card sales. The funds appear in your Settlement reports and are transferred to your bank account according to your settlement cycle.
