How to Perform End-of-Day Closure?

Updated

In Teya, the closing process is automatic for your convenience. However, we understand that businesses may operate outside regular hours or have several shifts, needing manual closure before the automatic cutoff time of 5 am GMT.

If you need to force closure, follow these step-by-step instructions:

Closing a Single Card Machine

Step 1: Tap the Menu located in the upper right corner.

Step 4: Click on Open to review the current daily session

(the icon will be displayed in green if the summary is open).

Step 2: Select Summaries.

Step 5: Select Print or Close.

Step 3: Enter the predefined Manager PIN.

Step 6: Select Print and Close to terminate the daily

session of your device.

Note that if you haven’t processed transactions on a given day, the summary will present the following message and you will not be able to close the day: “This current summary doesn’t have any transactions yet”.

Following these steps will close the day in your card machine, and any transactions conducted after this action will be included in the next daily session.

Closing Multiple Card Machines Simultaneously

Step 1: Tap the Menu located in the upper right corner.

Step 5: Your terminal will display all open sessions in green.

Click on one of the sessions that has at least one transaction

to initiate the closure process

Step 2: Select Summaries.

Step 6: Select Print or Close.

Step 3: Click on Filters located in the upper part of the screen

and click on the Terminal expander.

Step 7: Choose Close on all terminals to terminate the

daily sessions of your card machines.

Step 4: Choose the devices you want to

perform end of day and click Apply.

By completing these steps, all terminals associated with your business location will be closed, and transactions conducted afterwards will be included in the next daily session.

If your card machine has 15% or less battery, the summary will not be printed out. Please ensure the device has enough battery or connect it to a charger and try again.
