This article explains the two main ways you can access your Teya account to manage your business. Whether you are on the move or in the office, you can track sales, view settlements, accept Tap to Pay payments, and manage your Teya Business Account using the Teya App or the Business Portal.
Teya App
The Teya App is a mobile app for small and medium-sized businesses to manage operations on the go. With a user-friendly design, it helps you handle payments, track cash flow, and keep an eye on daily performance from your phone.
- Available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Log in or sign up using your Teya ID (business email and password).
- Only available on mobile devices.
Business Portal
The Business Portal is a secure, web-based platform you open in a browser on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. It is designed for deeper management, where you need more detail, downloads, or configuration.
- Access: Go to the Business Portal (or via the main Teya website).
- Log in with the same email and password you used when signing up with Teya.
Installation and updates
I can't download the Teya App
The Teya App is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If you cannot download, install or get past the loading screen, check the following:
1. Check software requirements
Your device must meet these minimum software versions:
- Apple (iPhone/iPad): iOS 16.1 or higher.
- Android: Android 12 or higher.
If your device does not support these versions, you must use a newer device to access the app.
2. Check your connection and storage
- Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
- Check that your device has enough storage space for new apps.
3. Use the official store
Download only from the official stores by searching for "Teya":
- Apple: App Store.
- Android: Google Play Store.
Login and verification
I didn’t receive the SMS verification code
If you are logging in and the SMS code does not arrive:
- Check the number: Confirm you entered the correct country code and mobile number. It must be a mobile number, not a landline. If you’ve changed your phone number, please contact us so we can update it on our side.
- Restart: Turn your phone off and on again, then request a new code in the app.
- Check signal: Ensure you have a mobile signal.
- Check settings: Verify that you do not have SMS-blocking or spam-filter apps enabled that might block Teya messages.
I didn’t get the verification email
If you are waiting for an email code:
- Check spelling: Confirm your email address is correct, including the domain (e.g., .com, .co.uk).
- Search all folders: Check Inbox, Spam, Junk, and Promotions tabs.
- Search keywords: Type "Teya" or "verification" in your email search bar.
- Resend: Return to the Teya App and select the option to resend the email.
Error messages
If you see any of the following error messages when logging in:
- “Your account has reached the maximum number of devices.”
- “Something went wrong.”
Try the following steps:
- Force quit the Teya app on your device.
- Check your device's app store for available updates.
- Download any available updates to ensure you are using the latest version of the Teya app.
- Open the Teya app and try logging in again.

Managing multiple businesses and stores
If you manage more than one business or store under your Teya account, you can switch between them:
- Use the business/company selector at the top of the screen to choose the business you want to view.
- Within a selected business, use the store filter to:
- Focus on a single store.
- See combined results for multiple stores.
This helps you get the right level of detail for each business or location.
