Account limits

To protect your funds, we apply specific limits on certain actions, such as transfers and withdrawals.

These limits are based on your expected annual sales turnover with Teya (the total sales you process through your Teya Account). We aim to keep these limits flexible enough that they do not interrupt your daily business operations.

How to view your limits in the Teya App

You can check your specific limits directly in the Teya app at any time:

  1. Open the Teya app.
  2. Go to Transfers.
  3. Select a recipient.
  4. Tap View Limits.

Changing your limits

If your business needs change and you require higher limits, you can request an amendment. Contact Team Teya and we will review your eligibility.

Card controls

You can use card controls to decide how each Teya Business Account card can be used and to keep a closer eye on  monthly spending.

You can turn the following card controls on or off for each individual card:

  • Contactless payments, including supported digital wallets
  • Online payments
  • ATM withdrawals

How to change card controls in the Teya App

You can update card controls for each card directly in the Teya App:

  1. Open the Teya App and go to the Account section.
  2. Tap the Cards tab.
  3. Select the card you want to manage (physical or virtual).
  4. Tap Manage 
  5. Under Card controls, use the toggles to turn on or off:
    • Contactless payments (including supported digital wallets)
    • Online payments
    • ATM withdrawals

Changes apply immediately and only affect the selected card, not your whole account.
