How to complete the verification
- Log in: Sign in here with your Teya ID credentials to access the verification questionnaire.
- Enter details: Fill in the requested information about yourself and your business.

Verify ID: Follow the on-screen steps to verify your identity.
- Important: You must enable camera permissions on your device to take a photo of your ID or a selfie.
- Submit: Once you finish the questionnaire, you will see a confirmation screen.
Documents you need
You must provide valid documents to prove your identity and address. Make sure the details on your documents match your trading name and address.
Proof of identity and address
- Identity
A valid government-issued ID card or passport.
- Home Address
A utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months.
Proof of business activity
You must provide one of the following to verify your business:
- Online presence
A link to your business website or an active online advertisement.
- Invoices or bills
A business utility bill, a statement from a previous provider, or a supplier invoice addressed to the business or owner. An invoice you issued to a customer is also acceptable.
- Lease agreement
A signed lease for your shop or trading address. For wholesale businesses or event sellers, a rental agreement for storage space (like a warehouse) is accepted.
Review process and Settlements
- Review timeline: Our team reviews your documents within 24–48 hours.
- Possible follow-ups: If we need additional information, we’ll contact you by email with clear next steps.
- Decision outcome: Once the review is complete, you’ll receive an email confirming whether your account has been verified.
Payments during verification
You can start taking payments before verification is complete. However, settlements will be temporarily on hold until the review is finished. Once your account is verified, settlements will be released according to your normal settlement cycle.

This routine check ensures that the details we hold about your business are correct and that your documents remain valid.

- Confirm the information we already hold about your business.
- Request updated documents if something is missing or has expired.
