Change my password

Use this article to change or reset the password for your Teya ID.

Your Teya ID is the single login you use to access Teya products, such as the Teya App and the Business Portal. It’s created with your business email and a password, and is linked to one email address and one phone number.

Change my password

Use these steps if you know your current password and can still log in.

Teya App
  1. Open the Teya App and log in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Security and privacy.
  4. Select Reset password.
  5. Enter the email address linked to your Teya ID.
  6. Open the reset email and follow the instructions to create a new password.
Business Portal
  1. Log in to the Business Portal.
  2. Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Manage Account.
  4. Select Change password.
  5. Enter and confirm your new password.
  6. Save your changes.

Your new password applies to all Teya products linked to your Teya ID.

Reset my password

  • Go to the Teya login page.
  • Enter the email address linked to your Teya ID.
  • Select Forgot your password?
  • Check your email inbox and open the password reset email.
  • Follow the link in the email to create and confirm a new password.

Once completed, use the new password the next time you log in.

Troubleshooting password reset

  • I haven’t received the password reset email

    If the email is not in your main inbox:

    • Check the email address
      Make sure you entered the correct email address registered to your Teya ID. Check for spelling errors.
    • Check other folders
      Look in your spam, or junk folders.
    • Wait a few minutes
      Some providers (like Gmail) may take up to 10 minutes to deliver automated emails.
    • Check bundled emails (Gmail)
      If you requested multiple emails, Gmail may group them into one thread. Expand the thread (three dots at the bottom of the last email) and look for the most recent message.

 

  • My reset link has expired

    Password reset links are time‑limited for security reasons. If you see a message that the link has expired:

    1. Go back to the login page.
    2. Enter your email again and request a new reset email.
    3. Open the new email as soon as it arrives and follow the link straight away.

 

  • I’m locked out after too many attempts

    If you enter the wrong password several times in a row, your Teya ID may be temporarily locked. You can:

    • Use Forgot your password? to reset your password, or
    • Wait 30 minutes for the lockout to clear and then try again with the correct details.
