Print receipts

You can configure your Teya Card Machine to print receipts automatically after every sale, or print them manually only when requested. You can also view and download digital receipts from your Teya Business Account.

Before you start

  • Ensure your Card Machine has at least 15% battery. Printing is disabled if the battery is too low.
  • Check that there is enough paper in the printer roll.

Paper roll requirements

Your Teya Card Machine uses standard thermal paper with the following specifications:

  • Width: 57 mm
  • Diameter: 40 mm
  • Core size: 12 mm

Teya does not supply paper rolls. You can purchase compatible thermal paper from:

  • Stationery shops
  • Office supply stores
  • Online retailers

Setting up automatic printing

By default, you can choose to print a merchant receipt automatically after every transaction.

  1. Tap the Menu icon on the screen.
  2. Select Payment Settings.
  3. Enter your Manager PIN.
  4. Tap Receipts.
  5. Switch the Merchant Receipt toggle to On.

When enabled, a copy prints automatically. You will then see a prompt asking if you want to print a customer copy. To stop automatic printing, follow the same steps and switch the toggle to Off.

Reprinting receipts from history

If you do not print a receipt immediately, or if a customer needs a copy later, you can print one from your transaction history.

  1. Tap the Menu icon.
  2. Select Transactions and Refunds.
  3. Enter your Manager PIN.
  4. Find the transaction in the list and tap it to view details.
  5. Select Customer Receipt or Merchant Receipt.
  6. Tap Print.

Downloading digital receipts in the Teya App

You can download digital copies of receipts for your records using the Teya App. This feature is available to users with Super admin, Admin, or Accountant roles.

  1. Log in to your Teya App.
  2. Go to Transaction History.
  3. Select the transaction you want to view.
  4. Tap Download receipt to save the file to your device.

The digital receipt includes key details such as the date, payment amount, and payment method.
