To receive money, you simply need to share your Sort Code, Account Number, and Company Name with the sender. You can view or share these details directly from the Teya App or Business Portal.
From the Teya App
- Log in to the Teya App.
- Select Accounts or Explore at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Add Money or View Account Details.
- You will see your Account Number, Sort Code, and Company Name.
- Tap Share Details to send this information immediately via email, WhatsApp, or other messaging apps.
From the Business Portal
- Log in to business.teya.com.
- Click on Account.
- Authenticate on the Teya App, then go back to the Business Portal
- Look for your Account Number, Sort Code, and Company Name on the top right side of the screen.
- Click Share Details to send this information, or click the details directly to copy them to your clipboard.
How long do incoming transfers take?
Incoming bank transfers to your Teya Business Account are usually instant.
In some cases, transfers may take up to one working day to arrive. This depends on the sending bank’s processing times and security checks.
Important: If you haven't received a transfer after one working day, ask the sender to confirm the payment was successfully processed by their bank.
How to view your transaction history
You can monitor all money moving in and out of your account, including incoming transfers, card payments, and settlements.
From the Teya App
- Open the Teya App.
- Go to Business Account (under Accounts).
- Review the Transactions or Activity list.
- Look for EFT In for incoming transfers.
- Look for EFT Out for outgoing transfers.
From the Business Portal
- Log in to business.teya.com.
- Click on Account.
- Authenticate on the Teya App and go back to the Business Portal
- View the Activity section. You can apply filters to find specific transactions you want to check.
