How to Enable and Accept Tips?

The Tips feature on your card machine is flexible and can be set up anytime, allowing you to offer three customizable gratuity percentages that align with your business needs.
Follow the steps below to learn how to enable and manage this feature on your card machine.
Enabling Tips
Step 1: Tap the Menu located in the upper right corner. |
Step 3: Enter the predefined Manager PIN. |
Step 2: Select Payment Settings. |
Step 4: Toggle the Tips button to activate the feature. Once activated, the toggle will turn lime green. |
That's it! You are now able to take tips alongside your transactions.
To disable the Tips feature, simply follow the same steps and toggle the Tips button off.
Customizing Tips
In Step 4, you can either keep the default tip percentages (10%, 15%, and 20%) or customize them by using the - and + buttons to decrease or increase the amounts.
In addition to the three preset amounts, you’ll always have the option to enter a custom tip amount during a transaction.
Accepting Tips
Step 1: Enter the total amount to be charged and press Charge. |
Step 3: Ask your customer to tap, insert, or swipe their card. |
Step 2: Select one of the preset tip amounts, or choose Custom Tip Amount to enter a specific value. The tip will be automatically added to the payment total. |
Step 4: If the payment is approved, proceed to print the customer receipt. |
