Order and activate your debit card

Your Teya Business Account allows you to manage business spending using both physical and virtual cards. You can hold up to 3 physical cards and 10 virtual cards at any time, giving you flexibility for online expenses, subscriptions, and in-store payments.

Virtual cards

A virtual card is a digital-only payment card that is available instantly. It has its own long card number, expiry date, and CVV. You can use it immediately for:

  • Adding to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • Making online purchases.
  • Managing subscription services.
  • Handling temporary or one-off transactions.

Create a virtual card

  1. Open the Teya App and go the Account section.
  2. Tap the Cards tab.
  3. Under the Virtual section, select Create New.
  4. (Optional) Add a label to help you identify the card (for example, "Marketing Software").
  5. Tap Create to confirm.

The card is active immediately.

Physical cards

Physical cards allow you to pay in-store and withdraw cash. Delivery typically takes up to 10 working days. You can create and use a virtual card while you wait for your physical card to arrive.

Order a physical card

  1. Open the Teya App and go to the Account section.
  2. Tap the Cards tab.
  3. Under Physical, tap Order New.
  4. Review the delivery address shown.
    • If correct, select Confirm and Order.
    • If you need it delivered elsewhere, select Change address, enter the new details, and select Confirm and Order.

Activate your physical card

You must activate your card in the app before you can use it. Once you receive your delivery, follow the activation steps.

  1. Open the Teya app.
  2. Navigate to your card section. Go to Account > Cards.
  3. Locate the physical card you want to activate. It will show a Requested status.
  4. Select Activate card.
  5. Enter the last four digits of the long 16-digit card number found on the card.
  6. Enter your Teya App passcode to confirm the action.

The card status will immediately update to Active, and you can start using it for payments.
