This article explains how you earn cashback on your Teya Business Account, when funds are credited, and how to view your rewards in the Teya app.
How cashback works
You earn 0.5% cashback on every purchase made using your Teya Business debit card. This benefit is automatically included with your account and has no separate fee.
- Global coverage: Cashback applies to card purchases made in the UK and abroad.
- No limits: There is no maximum cap on the amount of cashback you can earn.
- Settled transactions only: You earn cashback only when a transaction has fully settled. Pending transactions do not generate cashback until they change to settled status.
When cashback is credited
We calculate your cashback based on all eligible settled card purchases over the course of the month. This total amount is paid into your Teya Business Account as a single monthly credit.
Why your cashback amount might vary
If the cashback credit you receive is different from what you calculated, it is usually due to the timing of your transactions.
- Pending payments: If a purchase is still pending at the time we calculate the monthly total, it will not be included in that month's payment. It will count towards your cashback in the month it settles.
- Reversals and refunds: Transactions that are reversed or refunded before settlement do not earn cashback.
How to view your cashback in the Teya app
You can check your total earnings and see a breakdown of recent rewards directly in the app.
- Open the Teya app.
- Go to the Account section.
- Tap your Cashback balance banner to see a full breakdown.
This screen displays your total cashback earned, a list of recent purchases that generated rewards, and any pending cashback that will be paid once the relevant transactions settle.
