Integrate your POS system with Teya

This article explains how to link your electronic Point of Sale (ePOS) system directly to your Teya Card Machine. Integrating your systems allows transaction amounts to flow automatically from your till to your Card Machine, speeding up checkout times.

Integration types

We support two main methods for connecting your systems. Choose the one that matches your business setup.

Cloud Communication (POSLink)

This method connects a separate ePOS till and a Teya Card Machine via the internet. It is ideal if you have a traditional counter setup with a standalone till.

• Devices: The Card Machine and your ePOS till are separate.
• Connection: Communication happens via the cloud (internet).
• Cables: No physical cable connection is required between devices.

How to enable Cloud Communication

1. Open the menu on your Teya Card Machine.
2. Select POS Integrations.
3. Select External ePOS Integrations.
4. Tap Cloud Communication.

App-to-App Integration

This method runs your ePOS software directly on the Teya Card Machine itself. This creates a unified experience perfect for mobile businesses, food trucks, or pop-ups.

• Devices: One device handles both the order and the payment.
• Connection: The apps communicate internally on the device.
• Setup: No separate till is needed.
