Teya offers a £50 prepaid digital Visa card to you and any new business you successfully refer. This guide explains how the referral process works, the eligibility requirements, and when you can expect to receive your reward.
How to refer a new business
You can invite as many businesses as you like to join Teya. To ensure you both receive the reward, follow these steps:
- Contact Teya Support to request your unique referral link.
- Share your unique referral link with the business you want to invite.
- The new business must complete their Registration using your exact link.
Important: Teya cannot add a referral code after a business submits its details. If the business registers without using your unique link, the connection between your accounts cannot be tracked, and rewards cannot be issued.
Eligibility requirements
To qualify for the £50 reward, both you and the business you refer must meet specific criteria.
Requirements for you:
- You must be an existing Teya merchant.
Requirements for the new business:
- They must be new to Teya and must not have used Teya services before.
- They must complete their Registration using your unique referral link.
- They must process at least £500 in Payments on a Teya Card Machine or Teya Tap within 30 days of their account activation.
Receiving your reward
Rewards are issued automatically on the first Wednesday of the month after the referred business processes their first £500 in Payments. For example, if the business completes £500 in Payments in March, you both receive your rewards on the first Wednesday in April.
You and the referred business will each receive an email with the subject line: "Teya sent you a reward - £50 prepaid card". Follow the instructions in the email to access and use your digital Visa card.

Missing rewards
If the distribution date has passed and you have not received your reward, contact Teya Support. Include the following details in your message:
- Your business name
- The name of the business you referred
- The date they signed up
