Teya Referral Programme

Teya offers you a £50 prepaid digital Visa card for every new business you successfully refer. The business you refer also receives a £50 prepaid digital Visa card once they meet the required trading conditions. There is no limit to the number of businesses you can refer.

Eligibility rules

To qualify for the reward, both you and the business you refer must meet the criteria below.

Requirements for you (the referrer)

  • You must be an existing Teya merchant.
  • You must have joined Teya through our Inside Sales or Field Sales teams. Accounts registered through other channels are not eligible.

Requirements for the new business

  • The business you refer must be new to Teya and must not have used Teya services before.
  • They must register using your unique referral link.
  • They must process at least £500 in card payments on a Teya Card Machine or Teya Tap within 30 days of their account activation.

Important: Teya cannot add a referral code after a business has submitted its details. If the business you refer registers without using your referral link, rewards cannot be applied retrospectively.

How the referral works

  1. You share your unique referral link with the business you want to invite.
  2. Once the account is active, the referred business must transact at least £500 on their Teya card machine or Teya Tap within the first 30 days of onboarding – that’s what makes it a “Completed Referral”.

Reward issuance

When your rewards are sent

Your rewards are issued on the first Wednesday of the month following the date on which the business you referred meets the trading requirement. Rewards are issued automatically; you do not need to claim them.

  • Example: If the business you referred completes £500 in payments in March, both you and the referred business receive your rewards on the first Wednesday in April.

How your rewards are delivered

Both you and the business you referred will receive an email from:
rewards@reward.tremendous.com

  • Email subject line: Teya sent you a reward - £50 prepaid card

Follow the instructions in the email to access and use your digital Visa card.

If you are expecting a reward but cannot see the email, please check your junk, spam, or promotions folders.

Common questions

What happens if the business forgets to use my link?

If the business you refer does not use your unique referral link when registering, the referral will not count. The link is the only way Teya can track the connection between your accounts. If they register without it, Teya cannot issue a reward.

What should I do if my reward hasn’t arrived?

If:

  • The business you referred has processed £500 within their first 30 days, and
  • The relevant distribution date (first Wednesday of the following month) has already passed,

but you still haven’t received your reward, please contact Teya Support with:

  • Your business name
  • The name of the business you referred
  • The date they signed up
