Your Card Machine includes a built-in calculator to help you enter Payment amounts quickly and accurately. You can turn the calculator on or off and customise how it works directly from the numpad screen.
Access your calculator settings
Before you start: Navigate to the numpad (amount entry) screen on your Card Machine.
- Tap the settings dropdown menu at the top-right of the screen.
- Review the three available toggles to customise your experience.
- Tap any toggle to enable or disable it.
Numpad options explained
You can adjust the following settings to suit how you prefer to enter Payment amounts:
- Show calculator: Turns the calculator on or off. When enabled, the calculator is available directly on the numpad screen.
- Invert keypad: Flips the number layout on your keypad. Use this if you prefer a different key arrangement.
- Whole digit: Enters amounts as whole numbers rather than decimals. For example, typing "10" registers as £10.00. Turn this on to speed up entry for round-number Payments.
